Abstract
A critique of the work of contemporary women artists written by a contemplative nun who interprets the art from a spiritual dimension.She has selected examples from over 5O women artists, including Gillian Ayres, Louise Bourgeois and Bridget Riley. The selected artwork is illustrated and placed directly opposite Sister Wendy's criticism.
