Abstract

This study presents the legal framework for intellectual property rights in Greece and reveals issues related to contemporary classical music scores and parts. As such, it contributes to the discussion about the effectiveness of the current European legal framework, as integrated into Greek legislation, and about intellectual property, in order to promote composers' creativity, communication with audiences, and the protection of their rights.
