Consumer Advocacy Groups: A Voice for Survivors in the NSW Birth Trauma Inquiry

In this article Sharon Settecasse, co-founder of Better Births Illawarra (BBI), reflects on the role BBI played in encouraging, supporting and advocating for women during the New South Wales (NSW) Select Committee inquiry into birth trauma. From informative social media posts to sitting with women in their kitchen helping them write their submission, BBI played a vital role in advocating for the women of the Illawarra, NSW.
