Abstract

Several medical transport services have recently engaged the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems' (CAMTS) consultation service to prepare for an accreditation site visit. The consultation service is offered to air medical and ground critical care services to measure the quality of service provided compared with the criteria listed in the accreditation standards. It is also available to provide specific assistance in preparing for an accreditation site visit through a review of documentation of policies without a site visit or an entire service by a consultant's on-site visit.
