Abstract
This paper gives necessary and sufficient conditions to solve in a constructive way the transformation problem of a general nonlinear system into a special MIMO state affine system. This result is obtained in a direct way i.e. without computing the system input-output differential equations. Moreover an algorithm is given and an observer can be designed.
