Abstract

Circulant matrices, due to their wide range of applicability in computer sciences as well as their intrinsic properties make them particularly interesting for researchers. Circulant Rhotrices have been investigated in the recent researches for similar applications. After its introduction in 1936 Balanced incomplete block design (BIBD) which is an area of combinatorial mathematics, has been developed progressively afterwards. The studies regarding BIBDs have gained researchers’ attention due to their fixed cross-correlation property, which makes them unique in communication system. The applicability of BIBDs can be seen in various areas such as error control coding, cryptography, code-division multiple-access networks, key distribution in sensor networks and watermarking; to name a few. Symmetric designs, among a variety of BIBDs, are often used as codes. Present work primarily focuses on developing symmetric balanced incomplete block design (BIBD) by using circulant rhotrices.
