Abstract

Unitary transform of conjugate quadrature filter (CQF) is introduced for constructing orthogonal wavelet filters. As its applications, we not only provide a complete and explicit parameterization of one-dimensional orthogonal wavelet system, but also present a method for parameterized constructing two-dimensional orthogonal wavelet filters. By constructing non-separable two-dimensional orthogonal wavelet filters, we also give an example to illustrate the second application.
