Abstract

g-C3N4-WO3-Bi2WO6 double Z-scheme system was successfully synthesized via hydrothermal and thermo polymerization method and further confirmed by XRD, SEM, HRTEM and FT-IR. The photoelectrochemical (PEC) performance of all samples was characterized through photocurrent and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurement. Based on the tests, the enhanced PEC performance of the g-C3N4-WO3-Bi2WO6 was ascribed to a double Z-scheme system reaction mechanism, which accelerates the separation and transfer of charges.
