Abstract

In this study, BiOCl-TNTs photoelectrochemical sensors were fabricated by a combining technique of successive ionic layer adsorption reaction (SILAR) and anodic oxidation. The characterization techniques and electrochemical tests show that the as-prepared BiOCl-TNTs photoelectrochemical sensor possesses good photoelectric properties. And it has a fast photoelectric response to H2O2. The range of detection of H2O2 is 1 × 10−7 nM to 10 mM, the sensitivity is 14.69 μA mM−1 cm−2 and the lower detection limit is 0.05 nM (S/N = 3), and it exhibits good stability and selectivity. The results indicated that the BiOCl sensitization improved photocurrent response, and enhanced photoelectrocatalytic activity induced by solar energy.
