Abstract

Reasonable structural design and excellent composition are crucial for constructing excellent electromagnetic absorbers. In this research, NiCo@C/V2O3 composites were prepared by solvothermal method and annealing treatment using three-dimensional flower-like vanadium oxide as the matrix. The three-dimensional flower-like V2O3 and NiCo magnetic particles endow the composite with multiple scattering and reflection, conduction loss, resonance, and eddy current loss, thereby exhibiting excellent electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption performance. The results show that when the matching thickness is 1.8 mm, the minimum reflection loss (RLmin) can reach -57.40 dB. Meanwhile, the effective absorption band (EAB) can cover 5.36 GHz at 1.6mm, and exhibits extremely low matching thickness. In addition, our research can provide ideas for the design of vanadium oxy-compound absorbing materials.
