Abstract

With development of the science and technology, more and more medical instruments need to be with high speed data acquisition, analysis and the processing mode. The electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram physiological parameters, such as basic testing equipment, various types of monitoring instrument, ultrasonic, X-ray imaging, magnetic resonance imaging equipment, are widely used. This paper starts from the challenge that medical devices have the features of scarcity, valuableness and not easy to operate; we propose a novel virtual reality and HCI-based intelligent medical equipment system. Our method can sense the outside surrounding environment with 3D reconstruction technique and store the highly challenging data with the proposed database. We adopt the VRML to implement the VR system for its advantages of needing standard plug-in, easy to learn and use and the network transmission speed is much faster. In the experimental part, we implement the system and test the overall performance. The result shows that compared with other popular methodologies, our approach obtains better performance theoretically and in the application layer.
