Abstract

Two dimensional layered transition metal chalcogenides have been widely used in the field of photocatalysis because of their narrow band gap. However, it has the problem of fast recombination of photogenerated carriers. In this paper, WS2/MoS2/BiOCl (WMB) photocatalysts were prepared by in-situ synthesis method, which improved the problem of fast recombination of photogenerated carriers. Different photocatalysts were prepared by changing the ratio of WS2/MoS2 and BiOCl. The highest degradation efficiency was 7%-WMB, which reached 99.36% at 240 min. After 4 cycles, the photocatalytic activity still had good photostability.
