Research Article| January 01 2021 Constructing Zion: Faith, Grit, and the Realm of Possibilities Martha Bradley Evans Martha Bradley Evans MARTHA BRADLEY EVANS is the Senior Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Undergraduate Studies and a professor in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Utah who teaches history and theory classes. She is author of Kidnapped from that Land: The Government Raids on the Short Creek Polygamists (1993), The Four Zinas: A Story of Mothers and Daughters on the Mormon Frontier (2000), and Pedestals and Podiums: Utah Women, Religious Authority and Equal Rights (2005), among numerous others. A former vice chair of the Utah Board of State History, Bradley Evans is a Fellow of the Utah State Historical Society.
