Abstract
The purpose of this study is to suggest the directions for space construction and content development utilizing fairy tales.BR I analyze spatial storytelling of the fairy tales village in Songwoldong. The concept of this village and spatial organization are derived from world classic fairy tales. Its place identity began from fairy tales and tourists travel there to enjoy the fairy tales of this area.BR I suggest directions for spatial storytelling that make full use of the fairy tales through : 1) the creation of character branding of the place 2) the publication of storybooks reflecting Songwoldong contents 3) finding the space to represent the alley 4) retaining the space and considering how to communicate it with a story, and 5) the construction of space and contents that utilize Korean fairy tales. BR This study is expected to be the foundation of a storytelling project to construct space and develop its contents by utilizing fairy tales.
