Abstract
Here we propose a simple but effective method to build graded lattices for application in tissue engineering. This method can construct a graded lattice mathematically with the targeted gradients represented by a grey image. The lattice architecture can adapt both internal structure and external shape of a complex tissue for biomimetic purpose. The resulting lattice can be fabricated using various materials and suitable additive manufacturing (AM) technologies.
