Abstract

Narrative structures of Polish settlers in Misiones. The case study of Casimira KoturThis paper aims to analyse the narration of Polish emigrants from Misiones Argentina. It uses the interview method and its various forms: open, individual and uncategorised, as it attempts to analyse the case study of Casimira Kotur, who lives in Posadas. According to the results, discourse acts like narration, and not like single stories only, constructing new models of narrative identity. The presence of Polish emigrants in Misiones points to the concept of territorial polyphony and narrative identities because we can assume that discursive and metadiscursive structures — which establish historical and identity relationships — can also be found in narrative structures.
