Abstract

We study the one-loop contributions of the effective flavor changing neutral couplings (FCNC) $tcZ$, $tcH$, and $tc\ensuremath{\gamma}$ on the electroweak precision observables ${\ensuremath{\Gamma}}_{Z},{R}_{c},{R}_{b},{R}_{\ensuremath{\ell}},{A}_{c}$, and ${A}_{c}^{FB}$, as well as the oblique parameters $S$ and $T$. Using the known experimental limits on these observables, we may place 95% C.L. bounds on these FCNC couplings which in turn translate into the following limits for the branching ratios $\mathrm{BR}(t\ensuremath{\rightarrow}cZ)\ensuremath{\le}1.6\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ and $\mathrm{BR}(t\ensuremath{\rightarrow}cH)\ensuremath{\le}(0.09\ensuremath{-}2.8)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$ for $114\ensuremath{\le}{m}_{H}\ensuremath{\le}170\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$.
