Abstract

This paper focuses on moving source location estimation using TDOA and FDOA measurements in the presence of random errors in sensor locations. A one-step location algorithm based on constrained total least squares algorithm (OSCTLS) is proposed, and a qusi-Newton method using the BFGS rule is utilized to give a numerical solution. Simulation results show that the proposed OSCTLS algorithm can attain the CRLB accuracy before the thresholding effect occurs, and is more robust to large measurement noise than the two-step weighted least squares (T-WLS) method.
