Abstract

In this paper, a constitutive law for the description of the thcrmo-elastic compressible and incompressible porous solids has been presented. For compressible materials (J cp S = 0) the relation (8) takes on the form of the well-known law of Simo & Pister [4]. For incompressible materials (J cp S = n 0S S ), the displacement curves, see right Fig., of the law in question are almost identical with the curves calculated with the finite law of Ehlers & Eipper [5] developed for incompressible elastic porous solids without thermal effects.
