Abstract

We present our experience in managing larger anterior and central skull base malignancies, providing discussion points on the requirement for a multidisciplinary team, including ENT surgeon, neurosurgeon, plastic surgeon, oncologist, specialist pathologist and radiologist, and prosthetist. We stress the importance of understanding the natural history of the different pathologies. The timing and role of chemotherapy, as well as the different surgical approaches needed for the bigger tumors, will also be discussed.
