Abstract

The article proposes an approach to assessing the capacity of urban electric transport, which is one of the criteria for a stable resource supply of electric traction, taking into account the reliability of the elements of its infrastructure. By introducing the operational readiness factor as an indicator of reliability, the researcher has the opportunity to assess the impact of failures of these components on the efficiency of the electric traction process, as well as to compare the compliance of the transport line infrastructure with the characteristics of the rolling stock used.
