Abstract

In the field of acoustic engineering, there are phenomena and concepts that are unfamiliar to applied mechanics, such as mass law, sound absorption, and diffuse sound fields. In addition, there are some expressions that are useful in engineering, such as acoustic radiation impedance and acoustic radiation efficiency of plate vibration, but their mechanical explanations are insufficient. I accepted it vaguely when I was working at a company, but since I moved to university, I have deepened my consideration and understanding from the viewpoint of applied mechanics. It is outlined so that various acoustic phenomena and acoustic rules can be understood as applied mechanics.
