Abstract
O artigo busca aproximar as abordagens de Michel Foucault (1975; 1993; 1988; 1985; 2006) e Pierre Bourdieu (1983; 2007; 2012; 2013) sobre o corpo. Para isso, utilizamos pesquisa bibliográfica que mobilizou especialmente os conceitos de disciplina e vigilância de Michel Foucault, bem como doxa e violência simbólica em Pierre Bourdieu. Essa pesquisa busca colaborar com a elaboração de pesquisas sobre o corpo que enfatizem as abordagens desses autores de forma conjunta e complementar.
