Abstract

You receive a phone call. It's from the Human Relations Office of a prospective employer of one of your alumni. She would like to verify the alumnus's degree, major, and GPA since no official transcript was required as part of the application process. “We only ask for transcripts for the finalists,” she says. However, she explains, they are hoping to fill the position quickly. “We'll worry about the transcript later,” she says.
