Abstract
For many students, transitioning to college can be overwhelming, and for students with disabilities, it may be even more daunting. Schools can ease the move to college by bringing them in for an additional orientation for first‐year students. I spoke to Anne Comfort of Mount Allison University about the Meighen Centre's Pre‐Orientation and to Mari Magler of the University of Wisconsin‐Madison about the McBurney Disability Resource Center's Orientation and Service Training program (commonly called MOST) to get ideas for how such a program could be structured.
