Abstract

Assam is home to several domestic as well as migratory species of Birds. The State is known for scenic natural beauty and homely environment for such species. But unfortunately, the human race has made this heaven a hell for such species. This paper will therefore highlight that how certain social conventions followed as traditional rituals and also illegal activities have been causing threat to this species of Biodiversity in this land. This paper will also highlight the legal attributes that are associated with their conservation.
