Abstract

The aim of the article is to show selected consequences of Great Britain's departure from the European Union for the Visegrad Group countries. The research results lead to the conclusion that the potential of the Visegrad Group countries does not enable them to replace or even come close to the place and role played by Great Britain in the EU. The Visegrad countries do not have the appropriate political and economic potential to be a counterweight to the policies of the largest member states.
