Abstract

The consensusability problem of discrete-time linear networked multi-agent systems with a communication delay is investigated in this paper. Based on the networked predictive control scheme and dynamic output feedback control, a novel protocol is proposed to compensate for communication delay actively. For discrete-time linear networked multi-agent systems with a directed topology and a constant network delay, necessary and/or sufficient conditions of consensusability with respect to a set of admissible consensus protocols are given. A simulation result demonstrates the effectiveness of theoretical results.
