Abstract

AbstractThis paper concerns with consensus of a group of agents with unknown parameters. It is assumed that each agent can communicate only with its local neighborhoods. Then we propose a distributed adaptive control law based on model reference control strategy which uses only relative information between neighboring agents. It is shown that our adaptive control law attains a consensus if the communication graph is connected and bi-directional in some sense. Furthermore we interpret our proposing system with the notion of passivity, and show that the bi-directional information flow is required from the passivity for the system.
