Abstract

AbstractThe energy of a molecular graph G is defined as the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of A(G), where A(G) is the adjacency matrix of this graph. This article characterizes conjugated chemical trees with prescribed diameter and minimal energies and presents explicit expressions of their Hosoya indices. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
