Abstract

The reduction of heat loads under conditions of transpiration cooling is analyzed using numerical simulation of convective heat transfer in the zone of pressure shock incidence on a solid surface subjected to a turbulent flow. The Darcy equation is used to preassign the boundary conditions in the Reynolds equations for the momentum components on a porous insert.
