Abstract

The synnemata and mononematous conidiophores of Graphium putredinis (Corda) Hughes from horse dung have been studied by scanning electron and optical microscopy. The synnemata consist of twisted multi-hyphal stipes each terminating in a mop-like head of elongated annellides bearing cylindrical conidia. Various types of mononematous conidiophores bearing ellipsoidal conidia have been observed.
