Congresses of Russian Academic Organizations Abroad on the Problems of Preserving the Historical Memory of the Russian Diaspora

Abstract

The article analyzes the decisions of the congresses of the Union of Russian academic organizations abroad related to the problems of formation and preservation of the historical memory of the Russian Diaspora. It traces the transformation of the ideas of the emigrant scientific community about the tasks and forms of educational work in different periods of its existence. The author notes that the purposeful work of the scientific community in this direction helped to create a unified spiritual space abroad and contributed to the formation of the phenomenon of Foreign Russia. The article is based on published materials of the congresses of Russian scientists and emigrant periodicals.
