Abstract
The 1 April 2004 was not a day for fools this year. Indeed, the winners of the Journal of Wound Care/Tendra (Mölnlycke Health Care) Honours and Scholarships were anything but. As you will see from the report on pages 164–165, the standard of entries was extremely high, and the judges, Cathy O’Neill (Mölnlycke Health Care), Steve O’Neill (Clinical Governance Support Team), Jeff Hart (Cica Biomedical), Morris Kerstein (Consultant Surgeon and JWC editorial advisory board member), Irene Anderson (Senior Lecturer), Helena Baxter (Project Officer and JWC editorial advisory board member) had a tough time deciding on the winners. We also had a 400% increase in entries, which made the task even more daunting.
