Abstract
H-type tracheoesophageal fistula is a rare congenital condition. Its rarity and concurrent problems, such as respiratory distress, may delay its detection. We report delay in the diagnosis in a pretermsmall-for-gestational-age baby who showed symptoms of apnea and recurrent pneumonia, even when she was being fed by orogastric tube.
