Abstract

Summary Two cases of Milroy's disease have been reported and short review of the literature has been written, analyzing and describing the condition. The small number of cases reported in the literature and the lack of a satisfactory theory of the etiology and the absence of an effective treatment justify the publication of all available material. The laboratory reports of our cases, all being within normal limits, substantiate the fact, that this is not a constitutional disorder. The histologic examination of the foreskin of our patient (Case 1), proves the presence of definite tissue changes, ruling out the mere stasis of the lymphatic fluid or blood.
