Abstract

Description of case(s): A 7-day-old boy was admitted for assessment of tachypnea and melena. Echocardiography depicted tricuspid regurgitation (grade III) and mild right heart enlargement. Abdominal ultrasonography demonstrated saccular dilatation of the right portal vein, and Duplex Doppler examination showed mixed colors and turbulent flows. Clinical and sonographic findings suggested the arterioportal fistula with portal vein aneurysm.
