Abstract

In this preliminary report, Confrontation Counseling is offered as a unique learning experience for three groups participating equally in the discussion of a deidentified case's problems. Professionals, parents of mental retardates, and graduate social work students share their experiences. This counseling is proposed as a means of establishing rapport at local program level.
