Abstract

AbstractThe molecular conformation of phthalideisoquinoline derivatives was studied by 1H NMR methods. For the qualitative determination of the conformational preferences, proton relaxation times, 1D and 2D NOE experiments were applied. Our proposals were supported by the calculation of the effects of ring currents.
