Abstract
The ghost action recently found by Freedman and Warner (1986) for gauge-fixing the two-dimensional supergravity fields of the NSR superstring is rederived using superspace methods. Symmetries of this action are briefly considered, and the conformal anomalies due to the ghost action (including a possible quartic interaction) are computed.
