Abstract

An experimental investigation of a pyramidal microstrip antenna array fed by coplanar waveguides is presented. The use of a very thin substrate for coplanar lines allows not only a planar design but also simplifies realisation by the bending lines. The measured radiation pattern of this array is similar to that obtained when a classical probe feed is used.
