Conformal Maps and Uniform Approximation by Polyanalytic Functions

Abstract

In this paper we study some properties of Caratheodory domains and their conformal mappings onto the unit disk. Using these results we obtain some new conditions for uniform approximability of functions by polyanalytic polynomials and polyanalytic rational functions on compact subsets of the complex plane.
