Abstract

In this paper, a compact and low cost conformal continuous transverse stub antenna based on SIW technology for 5G applications is presented. The antenna is designed on a substrate integrated waveguide structure. This antenna is designed to work for the next generation 5G wireless communication systems. The proposed antenna is printed on a microstrip layers topology in order to make the design easy and more compact. This antenna is able to provide a good levels of gain (12dBi) with a good result in terms of return and insertion losses. Moreover, with the use of the SIW technology, the proposed CTS antenna has low cost and can be used as self-packaged.
