Abstract

From the point of vector space and its projection, the generalized likelihood ratio test and its application have been discussed in this paper. It is pointed out that the selection of parity vector Potter doing is not necessary. A condition about the configuration of a redundant sensor system is proposed for the fault detection and isolation (FDI) . In addition, an optimal robust design of parity vector and its detecting fault approach are proposed. Finally, an example of five sensor system is given to show the FDI effect of these two approaches.
