Abstract

The Configuration Management (CM) program is a comprehensive effort to provide the plant operators with the tools to track and maintain the relationship between the physical configuration of the plant, its documentation and design requirements. Part of this effort is the implementation of a Configuration Management Information System, which is used to computerize the management of the documents master equipment list, and change control. This paper presents all phases of the development and implementation of operational CM Program at Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria. It discusses the advantages of the CM implementation and reveal s some of the potential difficulties during the proJect.
