Abstract

A brief report is given of the 1964 Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements held at the Boulder Laboratories of the National Bureau of Standards from 23rd to 25th June, 1964. A total of 47 papers were presented covering the subjects of atomic frequency and time standards, quantum electronics, d.c. and audio-frequency measurements, radio-frequency and microwave measurements and the dielectric and magnetic properties of materials. This Conference was the fourth in the present series and continuation of the CPEM is now assured by means of a charter subscribed to jointly by the National Bureau of Standards, the International Scientific Radio Union and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
