Abstract

Conductivities of Graham Salt solutions in dioxane-water and acetone-water mixtures have been measured and a plot of reciprocal of the dielectric constant of the medium against the logarithm of equivalent conductivity is found to be linear in all cases studied. The phenomenon is explained on the basis of the ideas of Fuoss on association of polyions with counterions.
