Abstract

Nanowire arrays of crystalline [(CH3)4N][Ni(dmit)2]2 have been fabricated by a galvanostatic electrochemical deposition method using anodic aluminum oxide as the template. A nanopearl chain structure associated with the oscillation of the voltage during the electrochemical deposition process was investigated. These nanowire arrays are highly textured as determined by XRD. The preliminary results show that the conductivities of the nanowires are in the semiconductor range.
