Abstract
This paper presents the conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis of switch-on transient processes in dynamic wireless charging system used for electric vehicle (EV). Firstly, an equivalent model of dynamic wireless EV charging system with two ground side tracks is established. Also, transfer functions between equivalent EMI sources and conducted EMI in system currents are calculated. Then, based on a developed dynamic wireless EV charging prototype, the transient EMI sources are discussed and compared with the steady state ones. Moreover, relationships between frequency and gain amplitude of EMI transfer functions are given to show the frequency characteristics of conducted EMI in system currents. Finally, experimental waveforms and their spectrums are provided to validate the effectiveness of the model and conclusions.
