Abstract
Interval operatorsF for constructing inclusion monotone interval sequences by iteration methods are discussed. IfX1⊆X0 andXk+1:=F(Xk,k=0,1,…, then for two types of operators—aK-and anN-operator-it can be proved thatXk+1⊆Xk for allk. Also the speed of convergence of the interval sequence will be explored.
